Thriller “MIND TRAP” Opens in Egyptian Cinemas

The psychological thriller MIND TRAP officially premiered in Egyptian cinemas on July 2, offering audiences a gripping cinematic experience that blends mystery with psychological suspense. The film is led by acclaimed international star James McAvoy, best known for his standout performances in Split and Speak No Evil.

The story follows a married couple who unexpectedly discover that they have booked the same countryside mansion at the exact same time as another couple. What initially appears to be an awkward misunderstanding quickly spirals into a complex psychological game, as suspicion and tension escalate. With reality becoming increasingly elusive, all four characters find themselves entangled in a web of deception and manipulation.

Directed by Jamie Adams, the film also stars Kristine Zakala alongside Aisling Franciosi, who has received widespread critical acclaim for her performances in The Nightingale and Speak No Evil.

MIND TRAP builds its suspense through psychological tension and an atmosphere of mounting unease rather than relying on conventional horror. By exploring manipulation, distorted perception, and growing distrust, the film delivers an intense cinematic experience that raises compelling questions about trust, deception, and the fragility of the human mind.
