Preparations Begin for a New Installment of Shaqo
Cinema Track has learned from its exclusive sources that the production company behind Shaqo has officially begun preparations for the film’s second installment, following the remarkable success of the first film, which generated strong box office revenues during its theatrical run.
The filmmakers are currently holding intensive development meetings to finalize the project’s details ahead of announcing the production schedule and completing the casting of the remaining actors for the new installment.
The sequel is expected to see the return of several stars from the original film, led by Amr Youssef and Mohamed Mamdouh, while writer Wesam Sabry and director Karim El Sobky are putting the finishing touches on the project in preparation for production in the coming period.
