July 9 Release Set for “Whose Son Is He?” in Cinemas
The makers of the film Whose Son Is He? have officially set July 9 as the release date for the movie in theaters, making it one of the films competing in the Summer 2026 movie season, which is expected to feature several new releases in the coming weeks.
The film reunites actress Laila Eloui and actor Bayoumi Fouad in a new cinematic collaboration following a series of successful projects they previously starred in together. The cast also includes Ahmed Essam El Sayed, Entesar, Hala Fakher, and Zeina Mansour, alongside several guest stars, including Rania Youssef, Shaimaa Seif, and Wizzo.
The film is a social comedy that follows Rushdi, a carefree businessman who has lived a life full of adventures and multiple marriages. His life is turned upside down when his aunt dies and leaves him a huge inheritance, but with one condition: he must find his son from one of his previous marriages. This sets off a journey filled with humorous situations and comic twists alongside the lawyer Magda.
Whose Son Is He? is written by Louay El-Sayed and directed by Hisham Fathy. The production company is betting on the film’s success during the summer season, especially after releasing the official poster and promotional trailer, both of which highlighted the movie’s light-hearted comedic atmosphere.
