EGP 214 Million: “Bershama” Concludes Its Theatrical Run After 91 Days
The film “Bershama” has achieved a major milestone in Egyptian cinema revenues after spending 91 days in theaters.
The movie generated a total of EGP 214 million at the box office, securing a place among the top 10 highest-grossing Egyptian films.

The film features a star-studded cast, including Hisham Maged, Riham Abdel Ghafour, Bassem Samra, Mostafa Gharib, Hatem Salah, Michel Milad, Fadwa Abed, Kamal Abu Raya, Arefa Abdel Rasoul, Walid Fawaz, Faten Saeed, Mohamed Abu Dawood, Ahmed Mohareb, and Mohamed El Swaisy.
The film is directed by Khaled Diab, written by Khaled Diab and Sherine Diab, and produced by Ahmed El Desouky.
Plot of “Bershama”
The story takes place during the General Secondary Education Certificate (Thanaweya Amma) examinations for home-study students at a rural village examination committee on the day of the Arabic language exam. The students mistakenly believe that one of the exam supervisors has suddenly died, prompting them to take advantage of the situation and attempt to cheat, despite none of them actually knowing the correct answers.
