Cihan Yıldız is a Turkish-American actor and visual artist. He holds dual citizenship of Turkey and the United States and is currently based in New York City, with the ability to travel freely between the two countries. Yıldız completed his acting training in New York, studying at the New York Film & Television Acting School between 2020 and 2021. He further developed his craft through extensive workshops in the Eric Morris Technique from 2018 to 2022, and audition-focused training with Fulya Filazi and Ayşe Direkoğlu. Between 2021 and 2023, he continued advanced masterclasses in the Meisner and Michael Chekhov acting techniques. He made his on-screen debut in 2021, portraying the lead character, Mahir, in the TV movie Çember: Sırlar Apartmanı, directed and produced by Abdullah Oğuz and broadcast on Kanal D. In 2023, he appeared as Enes in the short film Woodpecker, directed by Tanju Özdemir. In 2025, Yıldız starred as Halil in the horror feature film Kulyas 2: Zikr-i Ayin, directed by Yunus Şevik. In theater, Yıldız played a leading role in Damat Adayları: Ortaoyunu (2021-2022), an Off-Off-Broadway production that toured across the United States. In addition to acting, Yıldız is also active as a director and visual artist. He directed the music video for "Seni Kimler Aldı," a track from Umutzen’s album Sevdiğim Şarkılar, released under Şahin Özer Müzik. His visual art practice focuses on abstract painting, and in 2025 he held his first solo gallery exhibition in New York, presenting works centered on energy, emotion, and form. Painting, puppetry, and photography remain integral parts of his multidisciplinary creative practice.
