After 22 Years of Success, Official Preparations Begin for “Ghabi Minnuh Fih 2”

Actor Hany Ramzy has officially announced that preparations are underway for a sequel to the hit comedy film Ghabi Minnuh Fih (More Foolish Than Ever), more than two decades after the release of the original movie. He confirmed that the project has entered the writing and development stage, with final details expected to be determined in the coming months.

Ramzy revealed that the filmmakers have been working on developing the screenplay for some time, noting that the new installment will feature a fresh approach that aligns with the evolution of contemporary comedy while preserving the essence of the beloved central character. He also stated that the cast and filming schedule have yet to be finalized.

The original Ghabi Minnuh Fih, released in 2004, was a major box-office success. The film followed “Sultan,” a simple-minded young man who dreams of marrying his beloved but finds himself caught up in a series of hilarious situations and crises due to his innocence and extreme naivety.

In addition to Hany Ramzy, the film starred Hassan Hosny, Nelly Karim, Talaat Zakaria, and Saeed Tarabeek. It was written by Ahmed Abdallah and directed by Rami Imam, becoming one of the most memorable comedy films in Hany Ramzy’s cinematic career.

More details about the sequel, particularly regarding the cast and the start date of filming, are expected to be announced in the near future, as fans eagerly await the return of one of the standout comedy films of the new millennium.
